Calabria Comics 
Would you believe if I told you that finally something is moving in Calabria in respect of comics convention? I know it sounds impossible, I could not believe it myself, but that's it! In fact, last year I was able to participate in the Reggio Comix, two editions of Lamezia Comics & Co., and CalabriAnimata. While waiting for the post dedicated to Lucca Comics 2009, almost a year later I still have not posted for the usual reason (I do not have the photos!), Here's the guide on the fairs Calabresi:

Reggio Comix went in October 2009, so exactly one year ago. Unfortunately it was a disappointment because I found 4 tables with guys who drew counted. Only much later I discovered that in Actually it was not true because a fair Comix Reggio is the name of '
Academy of Fine Arts and Comic Reggio! Maybe they were doing some demonstration to attract new subscribers, otherwise I do not understand that could mean "that thing"! -.- The only positive of that day was to review Reggio Calabria with my hippo. ♥
The
Lamezia Comics & Co. but I loved it! * __ * A June 2009 saw the first edition and the second in June this year. Needless to say, after I fell in love the first year I could not absolutely miss a second! It is a very small fair held in the cloister of a monumental complex, which gives it a very evocative. It lasts four days and although it is only the beginning is beautiful because it is organized like a small
Lucca Comics , in fact we find both the area devoted to comics that dedicated to games. Then there are exhibitions, film screenings and meetings with authors! The second edition also had a parade of cosplayers, but, in my opinion, was the only bad thing organized so that the presenter did not know absolutely nothing about manga or anime! Absurd! Participants did silly questions inevitably lead to them embarrassed! They could pick someone a bit 'better prepared? In short, apart from this small "negative note, I really enjoyed the show, and incredible, I could also find some comics I was looking for so long, that is:
The Harlequin Valentine by Neil Gaiman and Whispers of the Heart of the manga , from which it was derived the eponymous film by Studio Ghibli! * __ * And then I also did a picture with
Wall • E! *___* (Note the word "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH" and I'll try to break off a boom! What Vandal XD XD).
What to say instead on
CalabriAnimata , the first exhibition organized not only in my city, but even a short walk from my house? Who had promised a fair exhibitions, concerts, special guests, paraded cosplayers and then did not give any of this! It was just a deep disappointment! Was set to give the world of comics and attract new fans, but I think the result was the opposite. The disappointment was so great that I'd rather not go on too long, better to forget in a hurry, I just say that the only positive note of these two days have been
a drawing of Donald Duck with dedication and autograph Held by Valerio , Disney cartoonist and author of many stories that appeared in Mickey Mouse.
This positive note, unfortunately, was now "broken" by the fact that my poor hippo, after waiting for 2 hours and have not said anything to all those mothers who have snuck in disregard of the line, we hear from 'author:
"We give priority to children." Apart from a life that was waiting and he had seen how great it does not go unnoticed (XD), but it is not just a priori! If there is a line must be respected and just, both from the small and large! And then, if we are honest, those children did not even know who they were Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck! I'm sure all those designs will end up in oblivion or worse in the garbage, unlike my hippo instead would even framed! ç__ç The disappointment was so great that only the Lucca Comics will get me back! Fortunately, little miss! * __ *
